Dr. Robert Johnson graduated from the Medical College of Georgia and trained in Texas and the University of Iowa in ENT and complex head & neck surgery. Prior to medical school, he was a U.S. Army Ranger. He and his wife both practiced medicine in Savannah for 15 years prior to coming to MRMC; they have two college-age children. Dr. Johnson has a special interest in thyroid and parathyroid surgery, sino-nasal surgery, and voice and swallowing disorders. He and his wife have both used their medical skills on mission trips to Antiqua and Guatemala through the Faith in Practice organization.

Dr. Wayne Williams has been performing procedures at Meadows Health ENT for the past ten years. He graduated from the Medical College of Virginia and completed his residency at the University of Texas before becoming a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force and directing the ENT program for Sheppard Air Force Base. He then practiced in his hometown of Danville, Virginia, where he was also the town’s Mayor. He and his wife Cindy have two children, Richard, a chef, and Jessica, an attorney. They have one granddaughter, Mary Carlyle.

Amber Nobles Joyner APRN, NP-C has been employed at Meadows Health ENT for nearly a decade. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emory University and later completed her graduate studies at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She and her husband are both natives of Toombs County. They are proud to be raising their two children, Madalyn and Anna Kate, back home.
